PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Schedule Announced

The schedule for the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure tournament series has been announced. The 10th anniversary running of this popular tournament series will once again take place at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, with 40 events taking place over the 10-day festival that runs from January 5-14.

In honor of the 10th anniversary, PokerStars has put together a special promotion. Over the coming 10 weeks, a total of 100 PCA packages worth $16,000 each have been guaranteed in special $10 buy-in tournaments every Sunday at noon EST. The package includes flights, expenses, a $10,300 PCA main event buy-in and nine nights of stay at the Atlantis resort.

During the course of the 10-day festival, 40 separate tournaments will take place, with buy-ins ranging from as low as $300 to as high as $100,000 in the super high roller event is set to kick off the festival in high-stakes style.

Obviously the true focus of the series is the $10,300 no-limit hold’em main event that runs from Jan. 7-13. Other notable events include a $25,500 no-limit hold’em high roller that runs from the 12-14 and a $10,300 six-handed turbo that gives players a lost shot at a big score on the festival’s closing day, the 14.
