Brit Wins Inaugral BetVictor Club Poker League

“alias111” from the UK has won €1,500 for topping the first BetVictor Club free-play poker league.

In total 509 players from 47 countries took part in the month-long league with 20 percent of those coming from Israel which could only manage one player in the top 20 despite their numeric dominance of the field.

The UK provided just under 20 percent of the league players but had just alisa111 in the top 10. He said after his victory, “To put it in a nutshell, I have played on most poker sites and this without question is the best poker promo on the web.” (Check out the full interview here).

Mark Napolitano, host at the BetVictor Club said, “In a League that started out being heavily dominated by Bulgarians, in the end they just failed to close the deal. Eventually finishing with a still impressive 4 top 20 finishers even though they only had about 6% of the total entries. Top Bulgarian was gladius1 who finished as runner up.

“Romania also ended the month with 4 top 20 finishers after taking 3rd and 4th spots in the inaugural League. Romania had around 15% of the starting field.

“In the end the top 10 finishers were split by less than 50 points. Just about one event win! So right up until the very last event 10 or so players still had a chance of taking the top spot.”

The next BetVictor Free Play League starts today, December 2, and is being extended to seven days a week to give players even more opportunity to secure those precious points.
