Some say 13 is a lucky number and for Allen Cunningham, 13 will forever be a part of his legend as he becomes the 13th player to join Team Full Tilt. The four-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner is now a part of what many consider to be the world's elite stable of poker players.
The 29-year-old Cunningham had a strong 2006, winning his fourth WSOP bracelet in the $1,000 buy-in no limit hold'em event and finishing fourth in the main event. One of the modern game's brilliant minds, Cunningham has collected over $8.2 million in tournament earnings during the course of his seven-year career.
According to fellow Team Full Tilt member Howard Lederer, Cunningham is a perfect fit for the team. "Allen Cunningham has simply been the best all-around player at the WSOP over the last two years. Team Full Tilt is honored to welcome such an accomplished player to its ranks," Lederer said in a recent press release.
Formerly a "Friend" of Full Tilt Poker for two years, Cunningham joins recent Team Full Tilt addition Gus Hansen as the latest additions to a lineup that has won 30 WSOP bracelets.
