The final table is set in the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em high roller. This event drew a record turnout of 204 entries, building a prize pool of $4,998,000. After two long days of play, a stacked final table of eight players remains to battle it out for the title and the first-place prize of $1,424,420.
The chip leader heading into the final day is Shaun Deeb with 2,536,000 of the 10,200,000 in play. He overtook the chip lead in a massive pot towards the end of the night against Micah Raskin. Deeb opened and was called in one spot before Raskin three bet to 95,000. Deeb four-bet to 295,000 and Raskin called and the two saw a flop of 972 heads-up. Deeb fired 255,000 and Raskin called. The turn brought the 8 and Deeb moved all-in for 687,000. Raskin called with the 55, only to find himself well behind the AA of Deeb. The river 2 changed nothing, and Deeb found himself out in front of the pack while Raskin ended the day with the shortest stack.
Other notables at the final table include 2012 World Series of Poker Europe €50,000 high roller champion Mike Watson, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Vanessa Selbst, 2012 Partouche Poker Tour main event champion Ole Schemion, frequent high-roller final tablist Tobias Reinkemeier and respected live and online pro Bryn Kenney.
