The Casinos Austria Poker Tour 2013 gets underway today with the first of the Big Four festivals in Seefeld.
For the next 10 days poker players from Austria and beyond will battle on the felt over 13 events, the centerpiece of which will be the €2,000 buy in no-limit hold’em main event taking place from Tuesday January 22 to Saturday January 26.
Up to 260 players will participate in the main event and the organizers expect over €900,000 in prize money over the course of the festival.
Cash games will be running at Casino Seefeld from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Players can reserve tournament tickets with a 10 percent deposit and they will be held until 30 minutes before the event.
The CAPT Big Four will take in stops in Bregenz, Velden, and Baden later this year.
