Online sportsbook and casino operator, 188BET, has launched its online poker offering on the Microgaming Poker Network.

The company already uses Microgaming’s Quickfire instant-play game platform.

Nigel Singer, managing director at 188BET, said, “With the launch of poker on the MPN, 188BET has become a one-stop-shop for players, offering an all-encompassing range of betting products. We are pleased to have entered the poker market through such a well-established poker network.”

Head of network games at Microgaming, Lydia Melton, added, “We are elated that 188BET has joined the MPN. 188BET is one of Asia and Europe’s top online gaming sites, and we are confident that the addition of poker to 188BET’s portfolio will result in a very beneficial relationship for both parties.”

“Following a radical transformation over the past two years, culminating in the re-brand of the network in late 2012 and the launch of a network website, the MPN is the perfect choice for operators looking for a new network home. 2012 saw a number of major operators join the MPN, and this is set to continue in 2013. Additional operators joining the MPN will be announced over the coming weeks.
