Full Tilt Poker Launches .Eu SitePlayers From Greece, Luxembourg, Slovenia First To Migrate |

Full Tilt Poker has begun migrating players from certain countries from its .com site, licensed in the Isle of Man, to a new .eu site, licensed in Malta.
The move started yesterday for players in Greece, Luxembourg, and Slovenia and will contine with players from Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
Players in these countires will still participate in the same player pools as before, just through a different domain and after downloading the new software and opening a new account they will notice little difference from before, retaining the same screen name, account balance and bonus points.
Moving to the .eu site is likely to confer tax benefits on players from the listed countires given it operates under a Maltese license, and therefore is part of the European Economic Area, rather than an Isle of Man license which does not have EEA benefits.
