World Poker Tour Pulls Into Austria

The World Poker Tour pulls into Baden, Austria today for a nine-day festival of poker which includes the €3,300 buy in re-entry main event and a €10,000 High Rollers event.

The festival gets underway this evening Saturday, February 16 with a €110 rebuy satellite for day 1A of the main event followed by a €440 buy in no-limit hold’em freezeout on Sunday.

Monday sees another couple of main event satellites before Tuesday’s day 1A of the feature tournament. Players should note that Casinos Austria withhold five percent of the prize pool. Day 1B of the €3,300 event takes place on Wednesday with no re-entry for players knocked out on the day.

The event will be streamed live at worldpokertour.com.

Registration is open for the first six levels of the main event. Players get 30,000 in chips and a one hour clock.

Friday February 22 sees the €10,000 buy in High Roller event with re-entry for the first four levels, 50,000 in chips and 60 minute levels.
