The Nordic Masters of Poker gets underway today, Tuesday, February 25 at Casino Cosmopol in Stockholm, Sweden.
The week-long festival has just five events covering super satellites, pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold’em with the centerpiece Nordic Masters of Poker main event starting on Friday.
The SEK25,000 + SEK1,000 (€4,650 + €186) buy in main event sees players start with 40,000 in chips and a 60 minute clock with blinds starting at 50/100. Capacity for the main event is 108 players.
Last year the event was won by Ishak Noyan who took down SEK403,000 (€75,000) for his victory over the 62-strong field. The final table included Mats Gavatin who came fourth.
