A Delaware man was so upset that his wife was losing money at a casino on Sunday that he allegedly threatened to use an AK-47 to shoot up the place, according to Delaware Online.

The wife reportedly had already lost $30,000, and so the husband allegedly called casino security and chillingly said, “My wife is at your casino, get her out of there or I am going to come up there with an AK-47 and [expletive] you and that place up.”

It turned out that the husband was waiting outside in the parking lot, and when approached by police claimed that he was planning to “scare [his] wife.”

“She spent $30,000 in this place and I can’t take it anymore. I figured this way, she would realize that I’m serious about this,” he allegedly told the officer.

Authorities found weapons — not an AK-47 but a similar type of assault rifle — and drugs in his vehicle and eventually at his home, after a warrant was obtained.

The 28-year-old was arrested and held on $62,350 bail.
