The PokerStars Italian Poker Tour main event gets underway in Saint Vincent in the north west of the country today, Thursday, February 28.
The €2,000 + €200 buy in no-limit hold’em tournament features two day 1s and run for five days until Monday, March 4.
It’s the first time the IPT has pulled into Saint Vincent. Players will start the event with 25,000 in chips, a 60 minute clock rising to 75 minutes with blinds starting at 50/100 and a running ante from level four. The field will be capped at 250 players.
There are a total of 26 events at IPT Saint Vincent which started on Saturday February 23 at Casino de la Vallée.
Remaining games include a €1,000 re-entry no-limit hold’em, a €100 turbo bounty, and a €200 win the button tournament.
