Nevada State Rep. Shelley Berkley took time out of her busy schedule to appear on CardPlayer.com's own online radio show "The Circuit" yesterday. A replay of the show can be found here.

Berkley represents most of Las Vegas and was one of the politicians to speak out against Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist's attaching the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act to a major defense bill.

He succeeded in attaching the bill to a port safety act later in the week and the president signed it into law Oct. 13. Berkley called the maneuver a "breathtaking abuse of exercise of war power" in an interview she did with Card Player for a Web and print article. The article can be found here.
