LIVE UPDATES: Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Las Vegas Main Event Underway

The inaugural Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Las Vegas series has been a great success, with impressive turnouts seeing every guaranteed prize pool surpassed. Now the marquee CPPT Wynn $5,180 no-limit hold’em main event is upon us, getting underway with the first of two starting days at noon on Sunday Mar. 17th. The whole event will feature in-depth coverage, with live updates, video interviews and a streaming broadcast of the final table on Mar. 21.

Players start with 30,000 in chips, and day 1 blind levels of 60 minutes. Those who are eliminated during on day 1A can re-enter as long as registration is still open, or on day 1B. Those who survive to day 2 will return on Mar. 19th to 90 minute blind levels, playing through level 16. On day 3 the remaining players will be narrowed down to the final table, which will be live-streamed right here on CardPlayer.com, as well as on WynnPoker.com, with live commentary and multiple camera angles so fans, friends and family can catch all of the action. 2009 Champ Keith FerreraAlthough this is the first year that this tournament series has been a part of the Card Player Poker Tour, the Wynn Classic has been running for years, and it’s main event has been won by plenty of notable players, including Isaac Baron (2012 – $240,512), Tim West (2011 – $318,738), Brandon Cantu (2010 – $363,844), Keith Ferrera (2009 – $255,000), Chris Moore (2008* – $692,286) and Zack Hyman (2007* – $729,033).
