Another massive casino has arrived in the Asia region.

About a week ago, the $1.2 billion Solaire Manila Resort opened in the Philippines, the first of four new such projects to eventually hit Manila Bay, according to the Brisbane Times.

The property has 300 gaming tables, 1,200 slots and 500 hotel rooms — and it’s set to expand in the near future. “The gaming experience here will probably be as good, if not even better, than what [customers] can achieve in Las Vegas,” an executive told the Brisbane Times.

“Entertainment City” is expected to eventually bring in nearly as much money as Nevada, but surpassing the Las Vegas Strip, which once was the dominant gaming market on the planet. That designation now belongs to Macau, which snags high rollers from mainland China.
