Daniel Boender from Holland has won the PokerStars Estrellas Poker Tour Valencia defeating 482 opponents to take down the top prize of €104,550 at Casino Cirsa in Spain’s third largest city.
Boender, the only non-Iberian at the table, got heads up with Spain’s Marciano Rodriguez Cortes holding a 7:1 chip lead but despite a double up from Cortes, Bodner dispensed with his opponent in a couple of hands to take the lion’s share of the €463,680 prize pool.
