The Card Player Poker Tour (CPPT) is excited to announce more details on its upcoming stop at Los Angeles’ most action-packed poker destination, the Bicycle Casino.
The Bicycle Casino is located about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles and hosts 175 poker tables.
From May 23 to June 5, the casino will feature nine great poker tournaments as part of its CPPT stop and a number of satellites to an exciting $1,100 main event.
The main event tournament offers a unique structure with three starting days, $300,000 guaranteed with $100,000 going to the winner. Day 1a will start on May 24th at 1pm with
30,000 starting tournament chips and 60 min levels. Play will last 12 hours (plus 30 minute dinner break). Day 1b (May 25th ) and day 1c (May 26th) will be identical to day 1a. Registration will close before level 5.
This tournament is a re-entry tournament. If any player is eliminated from day 1a, the player may re-enter day 1b or 1c. Any player eliminated day 1b, may re-enter day 1c.
If a player makes it through play from more than one day, they will play their largest chip stack. The other stacks will be removed from play.
Day 2 will be on Monday May 27th at 1pm and the field will play down to 36 players. Day 3 will resume on Tuesday May 28th at 1pm when the field will play down to 9 or 6 players for the final table.
The final table will take place on Wednesday May 29th at 1pm streamed on www.liveatthebike.com and on the Card Player homepage. The winner will be featured in Card Player magazine.
Six $150 mega satellites will be running from Thursday May 23rd through Saturday May 25th at 4pm and 9pm for this exciting main event.
Each Mega Satellite guarantees three main event seats. Starting chip stacks for these satellites are 5,000 chips with 20 minute levels. For every eight players registered, one main event seat will be awarded.

Daily Tournament Schedule At The Bike
The Bicycle Casino is pleased to announce changes to their daily tournament line up. There are now 32 different tournaments running each week, with a minimum of four per day. The tournaments, which includes no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better and other mixed games, start as early as noon and as late as 11:00 p.m.
