As part of its recent site and rewards reveamp Switch Poker, the mobile poker operator, has launched a new player blog section where players at the site are invited to share strategy and other useful poker information with the community.
The first article in the series, for which the writers can earn medals as part of the new poker medals reward system, is by “Avata”, 31-year-old full-time poker player and coach Isaac Jourden.
Entitled Pot Control, the piece introduces the concept by saying, “One way to make sure we’re winning at the table is with superior pot control. Essentially, we want to make sure the pots we win are large, and the pots we lose are small. Sometimes in a hand, our goal is clear. If we have a monster, get the money in!
