PokerStars has announced details of season 10 of its flagship European Poker Tour.
The Tour, starting on August 28 in Barcelona, will again take in eight stops, down for the 13 last seen on season eight. It then moves on to London, Prague, the Bahamas, Deauville, Berlin, Sanremo and Monte Carlo.
The main change from this season is the return of London and Sanremo to their original dates in October and April. The eight stops will again incorporate a variety of PokerStars regional poker tours such as Estrellas Poker Tour in Spain and the UK & Ireland Poker Tour.
Other additions to the Tour include €50,000 High roller events in London and Barcelona
EPT president Edgar Stuchly, said, “ “Players at the EPT will see that we have made a deliberate decision to focus on stability. During a successful Season 9 where we decided to host fewer and bigger events incorporating the national tours, we listened to an enormous amount of player feedback who valued less time spent travelling, and more time spent playing.
“Since the Sanremo tournament will be held immediately before the EPT Grand Final in April, it will mean players can spend the whole month of April on the beautiful Riviera.”
The EPT season nine grand final gets underway today in Monte Carlo.
