Next week, some of the biggest names in the world involved in the gambling industry will descend on Las Vegas for the 2006 Global Gaming Expo, which is better known as G2E. The conference takes place Nov. 14-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Industry leaders who span everything from online gambling to tribal casinos will be present, as well as representatives from more than 700 companies to show off their products, share company secrets, and put faces to names.

Some of the highlights of this year's G2E include:

  • A food and beverage show designed to highlight this growing trend among the industry
  • A gaming investment forum featuring more than 20 speakers
  • A product gallery that features everything from architectural designs to table games and accessories
  • The premiere of more than 150 new products
  • Casino property and behind-the-scenes tours
  • The 2006 American Gaming Association's Communication Awards
  • Networking lunches
  • A "Neon Chef" culinary contest
  • Eight pavilions that focus on specific segments of the industry like bingo, security, and technology

And since G2E is indeed a global event, the highlights and special presentations will be available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.

CardPlayer.com will have several reports from G2E, so be sure to check back here often.
