Pop culture star Lindsay Lohan reportedly has made a casino in Connecticut pretty unhappy.
Officials at Foxwoods casino paid her $50,000 to judge a costume contest on Halloween, along with boxing star Floyd Mayweather.
She was supposed to be there at 10 p.m. EST to start work for the evening, but she didn’t show up until around midnight. She also chose to skip the red carpet festivities.
The 27-year-old actress, according to EOnline.com, ran the party well, but the casino thinks she breached the deal they had by showing up late.
“Casino employees were disappointed she was late and basically skipped the carpet, but as a host she did well, judging the costume contest and interacting with guests,” a person familiar with the situation told EOnline.com.
“I think overall the casino was very pleased with the outcome of the event and is looking forward to more opportunities in the future.”
Lohan completed a court-ordered rehab stint in August.
Foxwoods Resort Casino is a hotel-casino in Ledyard on the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Reservation. It opened in 1986.
