According to the New York Daily News, Trincher’s business typically dealt with soccer matches.

He was on the hook for decades in prison, but thanks to the plea deal could spend 21 to 27 months in prison. He is 52 years old.

Trincher won a World Poker Tour event at Foxwoods in 2009 for $731,079

Trincher’s sons Illya and Eugene were also implicated in the scandal.

Trincher was originally accused other crimes, including money laundering, but thanks to the deal will avoid potential punishment for the other alleged offenses.

The whole case is said to have connections to the Russian mob.

In addition to Trincher, a New York art dealer and Hollywood producer have admitted to illegal activity in connection to the far-reaching gambling operation.

Trincher was in the news in October 2012 for seeking $6 million for mold damages in his Trump Tower condo.
