While the centerpieces of the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure are undeniably the $10 million guaranteed main event, the $100,000 super high roller and the $25,000 high roller, they are only three of the 39 events on offer here at the Atlantis Paradise Island. Here is a look at some of the other events that have wrapped up already here at the PCA.
Event No. 7 – $2,200 Open Face Chinese (Re-entry)
For the second consecutive year the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure played host to an open face Chinese Poker tournament. In 2014 the event featured a $2,200 buy-in with re-entries, drawing a total of 53 entries to build a prize pool of $102,820. Seven players made the money, among them were several notables including Jonathan Turner (6th – $6,680), Jason Mercier (5th – $8,740), Benjamin Yu (6th – $14,900) and Paul Volpe (2nd – $23,400).
Volpe fell to OFC aficionado Shaun Deeb heads-up, securing the title, the trophy and the $32,380 first-place prize. Here is a look at the complete payouts from this event:

Event No. 9 – $5,3000 No-limit Hold’em Turbo Eight-Max
A total of 101 players turned out for the $5,300 no-limit hold’em turbo eight-max, building a prize pool of $489,850. The top 15 finishers made the money, with the tournament ending before an outright winner was decided as result of a three-way chop for $89,904 made between Matt Glantz, Tiberu-Florian Georgescu and Francisco Benitez.
This was Glantz’s second final table of the series, having finished fifth in the $100,000 super high roller eight-max for $445,520.

Event No. 11 – $400 No-limit Hold’em Turbo
One of the smaller buy-in tournaments of the series was event no. 11, which cost only $400 to enter. In the end 194 players turned out, building a $67,745 prize pool. Germany’s Tim Volf emerged victorious, taking home $14,965 for the win.
