Full House Resorts, based in Las Vegas, has agreed to purchase Fitzgerald’s Casino in Tunica, Mississippi for $62 million from Majestic Star Casinos. The deal is expected to be finalized late this summer.
“This property fits our acquisition strategy perfectly,” said Full House Resorts CEO Andre Hilliou. “The property has historically been well run and maintained under the current management team, however, we believe that we can leverage our knowledge and proven track record of managing properties catering to local customers in competitive environments to further improve the profitability of the Fitz Casino.”
The 38,000 square foot space features 20 table games and 1,100 slot machines. The property also has a 506-room hotel with restaurants, bars and an event center.
In addition to Fitzgerald’s Casino, Full House Resorts also owns properties in Indiana and Nevada and also manages a casino in New Mexico.
