Another couple has been accused of passing counterfeit casino chips in Maryland, The Washington Post reported. The case comes just weeks after a similar situation.
Two gamblers, Ngan S. Nguyen, 29, and his girlfriend, 35-year-old Dung N. Vo, have each been charged with one count of felony theft, one count of conspiracy to commit felony theft and two other felony-theft-related counts.
According to The Post, "Nguyen and Vo are suspected of altering numerous white $1 chips from Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia to make them look like black $100 chips from Maryland Live.
That information is according to a Virginia court document.
The state of Maryland authorized live dealer table games in 2012.
Two more casinos, one in Baltimore and one at National Harbor, are in the pipeline.
