Poker pro Phil Hellmuth, one of the few players able to garner consistent mainstream exposure, has been offered a chance to appear on ABC’s “Wife Swap.” However, it doesn’t look like it will be happening for poker’s most successful player ever at the WSOP.
Hellmuth took to Twitter on Tuesday to explain.
Have an offer to be on ABC television show "Wife Swap," but wife won't do it! Though I'm SURE she would look amazing! #WifeIsAwesome

Hellmuth, 50, recently finished fourth in a WSOP bracelet event in Australia. The performance was Hellmuth’s third final table since June. Earlier this year, Hellmuth appeared in a commercial for Carl’s Jr. In it, Hellmuth was shown munching down on a giant burger.
Hellmuth’s offer to appear on a reality TV show wasn’t really anything new for the poker community. Several players — Jean-Robert Bellande (Survivor) and Maria Ho (Amazing Race), just to name a couple — in the past have appeared in such programs.
