Card Player Poker Tour: Young Oh Leads Final 36 Players in Hollywood Park Main Event

Young Oh

Young Oh will lead the final 36 players when the last day of the inaugural Card Player Poker Tour Hollywood Park Westside Poker Championship begins Oct. 26.

Oh will return to a stack of 604,000, which he amassed on day 1b. Oh will be trailed by day 1c chipleader John Hulett with 588,000 and day 1a chipleader Massoud “Mike” Eskandari with 564,000. Ezell Jackson and Zhen Li will return with the short stacks having 19,000 and 62,000 respectively.

Players will begin the day with blinds at 5,000-10,000 and a 1,000 ante and will play 40-minute levels until the final table is reached. Once the final table begins, levels will last for 60 minutes.

John HulettWith 345 entrants over three day ones the prize pool for the CPPT Westside Poker Championship exceeded the $100,000 guarantee, coming out to $103,500 total in the end.

All 36 players returning for day 2 will make the money, with a minimum cash being worth $520 and the eventual champion set to walk away with the title, the CPPT trophy and a first-place prize of $30,005.

A few players who showed up for day 1c included prelim winner James Slater, Dana Kellstrom, Mark Jun, Joey Deluca, Bill Klein and Sean H. Yu.

The final table will be lived streamed in its entirety, complete with commentary, on CardPlayer.com. Day 2 will begin at 2pm and the live stream will begin when only nine remain.
