The alleged killers of Mehmet Hassan, a poker player from the United Kingdom, are currently standing trial, and this week the court heard prosecutors say that the defendants made a video of themselves throwing around the victim’s money while he lay dead in his flat.
According to the BBC, the jury heard that Hassan was bound with parcel tape and a neck tie and then kicked to death in his north London flat in March 2014—all for his gambling winnings that he had in the form of cash.
A woman, who befriended the 56-year-old victim at a casino, allegedly worked with two other man in the robbery that escalated into Hassan’s murder.
