One of the remaining 26 players in the Card Player Poker Tour Atlantis main event will leave Sunday night with the top prize of $38,625.
The home stretch of the three-day $1,650 no-limit hold’em $150,000 guarantee main event will begin Sunday at 1pm and play down to a winner. The payouts, beginning at $1,965, will start when only 18 remain. The runner-up will take home $27,045.
Jesse Rockowitz bagged 191,100 on Day 1A and could not be caught over the course of Day 1B. Reno local Zak Gilbert, who chipped up to the largest stack at the end of the second starting day, was able to get close to Rockowitz in the chip counts, bagging 170,100.
Dustin Fox, one of only two players to cash twice in the CPPT Atlantis main event, and Randy Gill, who won this event in 2012 before it was part of the CPPT, will also return to stacks on Day 2.
