Poker Central, branded as the world’s first 24/7 poker network, will be producing a TV show for this summer’s $500,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl taking place at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Poker Central will work alongside POKER PROductions, which has produced the WSOP broadcast and many other poker shows in the past to bring the tournament to a major television network in August.
The tournament, which features an estimated $25 million prize pool and an $8 million first-place prize, kicks off on July 2 and runs through July 4. There will be no cap on the field, which is already estimated at 50 players.
“We are excited to partner with ARIA and POKER PROductions to announce this new and thrilling event,” said Clint Stinchcomb, CEO of Poker Central. “It’s sure to be one of the most captivating and popular tournaments in poker.”
Players such as Antonio Esfandiari, Dan Colman, Erik Seidel, Joseph Cheong, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Scott Seiver and Tom Dwan have all confirmed their spot in the field, among others. Visit the Super High Roller Bowl website for more information on the field.
The site also features a chance for poker fans to win the ultimate high roller vacation which includes hotel and airfare, $5,000 spending cash and front-row seats to the final table.
The Super High Roller Bowl is a completely open event, meaning anyone with the $500,000 buy-in can participate. There are no tournament fees, meaning players keep 100 percent of the prize money. Additionally, the network plans on making the tournament an annual event.
