No, Alex. Twitter Launched In 2006.“This social media company launched in October 2010; in 2012, with about a dozen employees and no revenue, it sold for $1 billion.”

This was the Final Jeopardy clue that cost former poker pro Alex Jacob his winning streak on the latest episode of Jeopardy Monday night. Jacob answered incorrectly when he wrote down, “what is twitter?,” and it also cost him a returning spot on the game show.

The answer, by the way, was “what is instagram?”

Despite this setback, Jacob dominated on his previous six appearances and racked up a total of $151,802 in winnings. That amount pales in comparison to Jacob’s poker earnings, which stand at $2.6 million, but it’s stellar by game show standards. It also appears that Jacob has done more than enough to lock up a seat into the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions, so he’ll get a shot at redemption soon enough.

The 30-year-old currency trader, who now lives in Chicago, Illinois, upset some Jeopardy purists during his run by using an unorthodox strategy. While on the show, he was able to talk to host Alex Trebek about his poker playing past, including his interactions with celebrities such as actor Tobey Maguire and tennis legend Pete Sampras.
