Poker Pros Doug Polk And David Sands Might Fight In $500,000 Prop BetThe Details Were Being Discussed As Of Wednesday |

High-stakes poker pros Doug Polk and David Sands competed against each other this summer in the $500,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl and now both might be putting another half-a-million dollars on the line, but this won’t be over cards.
The two were negioating a $500,000 prop bet on Wednesday, according to a Tweet from Polk. The two are looking to fight. According to Sands, it would be boxing.
There doesn’t appear to be any animosity between the two, so it’s just a battle of their physical abilities. The details are still being ironed out and it’s unclear if both parties will end up accepting.
They currently aren’t on the same page about when the fight would take place, as that would obviously dictate the amount of training that could be done.
@DougPolkPoker that's not exactly true. I told you I would box last night or in three weeks, but not in 6 months.

Fights like this between poker pros aren’t unheard of. Gus Hansen and Theo Jorgensen boxed in 2009, with the latter taking a five-figure sum from Hansen. Several years ago, Lex Veldhuis and Bertrand Grospellier went up against each other in a kickboxing match. Videos below.
