The official numbers are in for the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe €10,450 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event. A total of 313 players turned up to the Spielbank Berlin to play in the first ever WSOPE main event held in Germany, building a total prize pool of €3,067,400.
The top 32 finishers will make the money with a €20,000 minimum payday and a top prize of €883,000 set to go to the eventual champion.
A total of 184 players survived to day 2. The chip leader heading into the day is Niall Farrell with 157,000 in chips. Other notables who survived the starting days include Kevin MacPhee (73,600), Brian Rast (67,400), Shannon Shorr (59,850), 2008 WSOP Europe main event winner John Juanda (59,850), Liv Boeree (59,150), Allyn Shulman (35,725) and 2009 WSOPE champion Barry Shulman (31,850).
Play resumes at 12:00 PM local time and will see six 90-minute levels payed out, with 10-minute breaks following each level and a dinner break after level 4.
