The Jennifer Harman Celebrity Poker Tournament on Friday, Nov. 13 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will see some of world’s best poker players joined by stars from Hollywood and the Las Vegas Strip all to benefit the no-kill animal rescue work of the Nevada SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

The tournament champion wins a seat in the 2016 World Series of Poker (or $10,000). All 10 who make it to the final table receive generous prize packages.

The $200 buy-in is paid at Planet Hollywood on the day of the event, but you can reserve a seat beforehand.

MCs are History Channel’s “Counting Cars” TV stars Kevin Mack, Roli Szabo and Horny Mike.

Late last month it was revealed that Harman will be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 6, along with fellow poker pro John Juanda.

The Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to the belief that every life is precious. Funded entirely by private donations, the Society operates a no-kill shelter in Las Vegas for animals who have been abused, neglected or abandoned, or otherwise face homelessness and danger. It works to provide medical care, rehabilitation and adoption services for thousands of animals each year and then place them in loving, forever homes.

For more information on the tournament, visit the Nevada SPCA’s website.
