FantasyDraft: Week 15 NFL DFS PicksHere's Some Daily Fantasy Sports Tips From An Expert |
|
This week’s #PlayersFirst $150,000 Run & Gun tournament on FantasyDraft is something you don’t see too often in this industry. They are taking zero rake! That’s right, $20 buy-in, 7500 players and $150,000 in guaranteed prizes. The $20,000 guaranteed $5 WishBone is also a #PlayersFirst event this weekend. This is a great spot to fire a few bullets at a daily fantasy tournament.
Being able to use four wide receivers on FantasyDraft is a situation to capitalize on when trying to maximize the upside of your tournament teams. Each week, I go through and look at four wide receivers that I believe are in good spots to capitalize, so here we go.

Julio Jones ($16,100) – Julio has been a mild disappointment of late. He is, however, on track to snap out of it this week, as he draws a really weak Jaguars secondary in what is projected as one of the highest scoring games of the week. Even in this rough patch, Julio has provided a very usable floor that isn’t killing fantasy teams. He’s just lacked one of those super high ceiling games recently and that’s a good bet to change this week.
Allen Robinson ($14,300) – Using Allen Robinson with Julio could result in a tournament winner this week, as they are the two most likely players to put up monster games if the Falcons-Jaguars tilt turns into a shootout. An ultra talented second-year receiver, Robinson has exploded onto the scene and put together a monster season in 2015. In Robinson, we’re watching the next superstar at the receiver position.
Calvin Johnson ($13,000) – While Robinson is the new wave, Megatron is the old guard. Megatron has had a very un-Megatron-like season thus far. Everyone can agree on that. Which makes it all the more crazy when you step back and realize he has 71 catches, 981 yards and 7 touchdowns through 13 games. He’s also faced one of the toughest possible schedules for a number one wide receiver this season. Now this week, he draws the Saints awful pass defense in a dome in the game with the week’s highest projected total.
Michael Floyd ($8,700) – What else does this man have to do to get you to show him some salary love, FantasyDraft? All he’s done is slap up four 20 plus FantasyDraft point performances in his last five games. He’s only facing one of the best matchups in the entire league for receivers this week. His quarterback is playing as well as any quarterback in the NFL. What else does he have to do? Show him some love. Meanwhile, as DFS players, we should take advantage of this $8,700 price tag and get on Floyd in the Run & Gun tournament this week.
