This summer, there will be more than one major poker tournament taking place in Las Vegas.
The schedule for the Bellagio Cup III was released today, and like years past, it will give players in town for the World Series of Poker an alternative to the enormous crowds expected there.
The Bellagio Cup III takes place from Monday, June 11, to Friday, July 13. It contains 28 events with buy-ins ranging from $1,590 to the $10,300 championship event, which starts July 10. All are no-limit hold'em events.
The entire schedule can be found here on CardPlayer.com's tournament listings page, but basically a tournament will take place each day. The Bellagio Cup III contains five $1,590 events, 13 $2,620 events, nine $5,180 events and the $10,300 championship event.
The WSOP runs from June 1 to July 17. Last year's Bellagio Cup contained 27 $1,080 no-limit hold'em tourneys (including satellites) and a $10,300 championship. Two $1,080 tourneys ran every day.
