The Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee is primed for a repeat performance a year after it hosted their inaugural WPT DeepStacks event. The staff is gearing up for an even larger turnout this year after poker players showed their appreciation for the multi-million dollar casino expansion that included a newly constructed poker room.
Poker Room Manager Richard O’Connell is looking forward to another great year. The guarantee has doubled from $100,000 last year to $200,000! There will be 24 events between Sept. 2-11, and capping the action will be the main event with a buy-in of $1,100.
This year’s series offers additional incentive by giving players a chance to qualify for the WPTDS Player of the Year race. The Player of the Year package includes $15,000 towards 2017 main tour stop buy-ins, as well as $5,000 towards Season 4 WPTDS tour stops.
