Nevada Casinos Win $887.5 Million In OctoberGaming Win Increases 11 Percent Year-Over-Year |

Nevada’s casino industry won $986.2 million from gamblers during the month of October, according to figures released this week by Silver State gaming regulators.
The amount was an increase of 11 percent compared to the same month a year ago when gaming win was $887.5 million.
The Las Vegas Strip reported $562.7 million of the state total, which was an increase of 14 percent year-over-year. Clark County had $856.9 million of the $986.2 million, an increase of 13.4 percent year-over-year.
Nevada collected nearly $60 million in taxes on the statewide revenue.
Here’s a brief breakdown of the revenue by game:
Slots: $631.6 million
Blackjack: $100.9 million
Baccarat: $87.2 million
Sports Betting: $42.3 million
Poker: $8.7 million (includes internet poker)
The sports books won 8.2 percent of wagers.
Statewide, there were 144,900 slot machines, 2,640 blackjack tables, 336 baccarat tables, 192 sports books and 610 poker tables.
Nevada sports books had $30 million of the overall sports betting revenue come from football, which was a 27.7-percent increase year-over-year.
