Gambler Loses 15-Team Parlay For $100K Thanks To A Single Point In Patriots GameEpic Wager Falls Just Short In Heartbreaking Fashion |

Just days ago, one unlucky gambler was down to the final game of a 15-game parlay that would have netted him $100,000 on a measly $5 investment. He just needed the New England Patriots to beat the Baltimore Ravens by more than seven points.
However, the Ravens (7-6) were able to score 20 points in the last two quarters and the game ended with the Patriots (11-2) winning 30-23. That made the entire six-figure parlay a push. The gambler just got his money back.
ESPN had the story:
Because the Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens by exactly seven, 30-23, the result of the 15th game of the parlay, after the previous 14 had come through, was a push. William Hill spokesman Michael Grodsky confirmed to ESPN that it was an all-or-nothing parlay card. As such, the push didn’t reduce it to winning a 14-leg parlay; it made the entire card worthless.
Nevada sports books were in the black $30 million from NFL bets in October, the most recent month data is available for.
