Florida’s newest poker room, the Orange City Racing & Card Club, opened it’s doors to the public March 1.
Billed as Orlando’s closest poker room and a sports lover’s dream, the 33-table room spreads cash games such as Texas hold’em, Omaha, Omaha hi-lo and seven card stud. Players can also enjoy the excitement of simulcast races from some of the nation’s premier thoroughbred, harness and greyhound tracks.
Another great feature for poker players is Jake’s 29° Sports Bar and Grill, with 12 on-tap 29° beers, a choice of domestic, imported and craft beer and a full liquor bar and an innovative pub style food menu. The restaurant also boasts seven 75-inch big screens to complement the 60 screens spread throughout the facility.
Orange City Mayor Gary Blair, Fred Guzman, President and General Manager of Orange City Racing & Card Club along with Michael Stringer, Director Of Operations were on hand to be a part of the grand opening ribbon cutting celebration.
