Oscar-winner Aaron Sorkin, who is making his directorial debut with the poker movie “Molly’s Game,” has decided to let go of the film editor for the movie.

Page Six reported that Sorkin fired David Rosenbloom, who was the editor on movies such as “Deep Impact” and “The Break-Up.” Molly’s Game doesn’t have a release date yet.

Sorkin reportedly showed some footage of Molly’s Game last month at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Not long after, Rosenbloom was let go, according to the report.

Production for the movie wrapped up this spring.

The all-star cast includes Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Michael Cera and Kevin Costner.

Chastain is playing Molly Bloom, who once ran exclusive high-stakes poker games for Hollywood celebrities and rich businessmen. The actors in her games, which included Ben Affleck, Tobey Maguire, Leo DiCaprio and Matt Damon, will not be playing themselves in the movie.
