Authorities in Florida are searching for a man who robbed the poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
According to ABC Action News, the FBI and the Seminole Police Department say an armed man walked up to the cashier cage and demanded an undisclosed amount cash. After receiving the loot, the suspect fled the casino on foot.
The incident happened in the early morning hours on Friday. No shots were fired and no one was injured, according to police. The robbery is similar to a November incident over in Las Vegas. In that case, a man brandishing a firearm robbed the Bellagio poker room for an undisclosed about of cash. He successfully fled the casino and still is on the loose.
A photo and video of the suspect from the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa incident was made public. Police say he’s in his 20s and stands about 5-foot-4.
