If you’ve missed the start of the Card Player Poker Tour Isle Casino series, which kicked off last week and boasts a total of $485,000 in guarantees, don’t worry. The highlight of the series schedule, the $250,000 guaranteed main event, is yet to come.
The $1,100 buy-in main event begins on Thursday, Aug. 23, with the first of three starting flights. Players can also begin their tournament on Friday, Aug. 24, and Saturday, Aug. 25.
Players can also buy-in up until the start of day 2, which is Sunday, Aug. 26. Main event players will start with 30,000 in chips and 40-minute blinds. The blinds will be increased to 50 minutes on day 2, and 60 minutes during the final table on Monday, Aug. 27.

Those looking to win their way into the main event still have plenty of opportunities to do so. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the Isle Casino will host $250 buy-in main event qualifiers at 10 a.m. with additional qualifiers Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m.
