Jeremy Hilsercop is a hard-working family man from Tennessee who loves the game of poker, but a trip to Las Vegas for the biggest poker festival in the world always seemed just a little out of reach.
His wife Randi, however, decided to make his dream come true. Christmas morning, she surprised her husband with the ultimate gift. Plane tickets to Vegas, hotel accomodations at the Rio, and a ticket to play in the World Series of Poker.
Jeremy was overcome with emotion after the thoughtful gift. Check out his reaction below.
I bought my husband a trip to the WSOP in Vegas for Christmas this year. We’ve never been able to afford to go til this year. He was very surprised!

If that was the end of the story, it would have made for an amazing and unforgettable holiday for Jeremy. But after seeing Randi’s post on Twitter, the poker world responded with even more generosity to give him the ultimate experience.
In addition to getting a personal welcome message from the WSOP, numerous other companies stepped up with offers for poker coaching and training products. Some players even asked to buy pieces of Jeremy’s action, hoping he could extend his summer trip with a couple more tournaments.
Then, thanks to the efforts of poker personality Joey Ingram, PokerStars agreed to chip in an incredible $30,000 Platinum Pass to the $25,000 buy-in tournament this January at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas!
