The Card Player family wishes a ton of luck to Card Player Magazine employee John Grinzivich, who won his way into the World Series of Poker main event through a freeroll held exclusively for all the employees courtesy of Card Player CEO Barry Shulman.
Grinz started the main event today.
Grinz outlasted 30 of his co-workers in a tournament held one Friday afternoon last month at the Palms. By winning the tournament, he received a $10,000 entry into the main event.
All Card Player employees have at least 1 percent of Grinzivich. Those who finished fourth or better have larger percentages. Grinzivich won the right to play for 20 percent of his winnings and the entry, but he traded percentages before the tournament with a co-worker and is playing for 15 percent.
