Larry Flynt’s Hustler Casino in Gardena, California is set to host an exciting $150,000 guaranteed poker tournament this Memorial Day Weekend. The $150 buy-in, $100 add-on Memorial Day Extravaganza event runs from May 22-26 and features a total of six starting flights. There are two starting flights per day, at noon and 5 p.m. local time on May 22 and 23. Then there will be a single flight available each day on May 24 and 25 starting at noon.
Players will receive 15,000 in starting chips for their $150 buy-in, with an additional 15,000 for the $100 add-on.
The tournament features a button-ante format, with the player on the button posting a single ante once per round. Blinds start at 100-200, with the button ante of 200 introduced for level 2. The levels will last for 30 minutes through most of the event. The fifth and sixth levels of the tournament will be extended to 60 minutes in length. Registration and re-entry will close for each flight at the start of level 7.
The top 12 percent of each starting flight will advance to day 2. Any double qualifiers will have their largest stack move forward, and will receive $1,000 for each stack removed. The day 2 chip leader will receive a $2,500 bonus.
Day 2 will begin at 2 p.m. local time of May 26, with play continuing until a winner is decided.
