A disgruntled gambler was kicked out of a North Las Vegas casino last Friday. She responded to the news by driving her RV through the front doors of the property.
Around 5:20 a.m., Jennifer Skitt, 50, was forcefully removed from the Cannery Casino for what the North Las Vegas Police is calling “disorderly conduct.” When casino staff asked her to leave the premise, she refused, which immediately constituted trespassing.
After disagreeing with the trespassing allegation, a security guard physically removed Skitt from the casino and called the police.
Instead of driving home, Skitt drove the vehicle into the front of the casino, critically injuring a 66-year-old custodian. According to multiple outlets, witnesses on site claimed that Skitt never let her foot off the gas, even after breaking through the glass doors. Security had to remove her from the driver’s seat or she would have reached the gaming floor and possibly injured more people.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after and took Skitt into custody. She is being charged with attempted murder and being held on $100,000 bail.
The custodian is in critical condition but expected to survive the incident. Surprisingly, there are no reports of alcohol or drugs being involved.
