The World Series of Poker awarded its first official gold bracelet in an event held online in 2015. A total of 18 bracelets have been awarded on WSOP.com since then. On Thursday, February 13, the WSOP announced that a total of 14 online bracelet events are scheduled for this year’s series.

“We believe the 2020 offering of online gold bracelet events features our best schedule yet,” said WSOP.com Director of Online Poker Danielle Barille. “This year we offer a consistent schedule of Sunday events every week of the WSOP, plus a special selection of eight events from June 28 to July 5 to coincide with the biggest week of the live WSOP when most players are in town to play.”

The internet events are expected to be open to anyone inside the borders of Nevada or New Jersey during the runtime of the tournaments. In order to play on WSOP.com, players need not be residents of those two states, but simply physically located there at the time they are playing.

All but one of the 14 online events will kick off t 3:30 p.m. pacific time, with the brand new $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em high roller event being the only one to buck the trend. That tournament will get underaway at noon pacific on July 2.

All but one of the events on the online bracelet schedule will feature no-limit hold’em as the game, with various tweaks to format offered. All of those events will be able to be played on either a computer, mobile device or tablet. The lone pot-limit Omaha event on the schedule will only be playable from a computer.

The WSOP noted that players will be able to multi-table live and online events while in the Rio.

In addition to online bracelet events, WSOP.com will also host a bevy of satellites for live WSOP events, including the marquee main event. The largest of these offerins is the ‘25 Seat Scramble’. The $215 buy-in satellite kicks off on Sunday, June 28 at 4:00 p.m. pacific, and features a guaranteed 25 seats into the $10,000 WSOP main event.
