On Friday, March 13 bestbet Jacksonville announced that their upcoming WPTDeepStacks series has been postponed. They released the following statement:
To prevent any further spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak throughout the country, we have decided to postpone the WPTDeepStacks series from March 20 – 30 at bestbet Jacksonville. All satellites for this event have also been postponed.
After careful consideration, this decision was made as the health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. Our team is monitoring the situation closely and will share the rescheduled date for the WPTDeepStacks as soon as it comes available.
Both of the bestbet locations in Jacksonville and Orange Park will remain open as cash games with continue to operate.
Our team has taken precautionary measures and has implemented enhanced sanitizing procedures at both locations to ensure the health and safety of our employees and guests.
