The massive turnout resulted in a record $293,183,345 in prize money being awarded.
The original schedule announced for this year’s WSOP called for a record 101 gold bracelets to be awarded, but the 2020 summer series is currently in jeopardy, with officials hoping for a chance at running a modified schedule in the fall.
