Las Vegas authorities are searching for a mother who abandoned her three-year-old daughter in the bathroom of a Strip casino.

According to a report from the New York Post, detectives are looking for Miriam Ramos, 26, who left her toddler in the restroom at Wynn Las Vegas on Dec. 29. Ramos is considered a regular at both Strip and Downtown casinos. Local authorities were able to identify Ramos from surveillance footage around and inside the casino.

Footage showed Ramos and her daughter leave the Fashion Show mall, walk across the street to the Wynn, where Ramos led her daughter into the bathroom and was subsequently left to fend for herself.

According to investigators, Ramos asked a cab driver, who was taking her and the child to the mall, where the “nearest shelter was.” She was also in possession of several suitcases at the time of the abandonment.

The daughter was not harmed and is currently in the custody of Clark County Child Protective Services.

Ramos was last seen leaving the Wynn and heading north on Las Vegas boulevard. She was last seen wearing a blonde wig, a blue Bebe shirt and a yellow jacket. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or leave anonymous tips to CrimeStoppers at 702-385-5555.
